Heidi is a very eager dog, she wants to learn all day long, her will to please is constantly present, she is a fast learner, very affectionate and everything is fun. An excellent marker, she is steady, works fast, does not give up until found; an athletic dog that likes to run next to the bicycle or to go hiking in the mountains. She thrives in the water, dives and searches under water like a little beaver and she loves to learn tricks.
Heidi participated in her first WC when she was barely 5 months old and retrieved the ducks like a pro she is a regular hunting companion on our farm.
This little girl gets me excited about any dog sport, especially one where I can challenge her willingness to learn. Rally, Obedience, Agility, you name it and Heidi's ready to go!
We got involved in K9 Nose work, she passed her ORT1 (Odor Recognition Test) in December 2012 and participated in her first NW trial in spring 2013. She did not only earn the title NW1, she also placed 2nd overall (2 seconds behind 1st place!) and 1st place in the interior search as well as a pronounced. In August 2013 she passed her ORT2 in anise. She earned her NW2 title in November 2013 with a pronounced in all 4 elements, 4th overall placement and 3rd place in Vehicle search. She participated in her first NW3 trial and placed 3rd in the vehicle search. She earned her NW3 title as overall fastest dog with a Pronounced.
She earned her Elite Champion title in 2019
Heidi is a very special girl and was a great mother to her first litter in May 2016. Out of that litter her son Fair Play Mothers Day Acorn joined our pack.
